Branch River Ranch is a premier facility specializing in top quality Andalusian horses. We offer sale horses, stud/stallion services, boarding, and training. With every service we offer, high standards are our main concern.

Sale Horses/Young Stock. We are committed to a strict breeding program to ensure quality Andalusians that will be known for their beauty, substance, tremendous athleticism and especially for their temperaments. All of our Pure Spanish Andalusian Mare and Foal

Andalusians are approved and/or inscribed by Spain as horses of quality required by Spain for maintaining the breed standard. All are included in the Spanish Stud Book, signifying internationally their approval and breed quality.

By breeding our foundation mares to several stallions at least twice, back to back, we have been able to define exactly what our mares are capable of producing. By having this understanding of our mares and also of our stallions, we are able to produce the very best qualities in our offspring.

Boarding. Branch River Ranch is located on 40 acres surrounded by the Branch River on two sides. Our facilities are beautifully maintained with 28 large airy stalls, large indoor arena, outdoor dressage arena, outdoor round pen, heated wash stalls, viewing room, tack room and a bar/recreation area. We have a full staff at the ranch 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure that all needs are taken care of. Horses are turned out according to owner's wishes. Training. Branch River Ranch offers training to outside horses including halter training, performance training and starting young horses. All breeds are welcomed. Our training program, under the expert guidance of professional trainer Jen Bender, is designed individually for horse and rider success. Each training session starts and ends with ground manners and grooming. We believe in positive progression with attention on the health and abilities of the horse. For optimum health and performance, our horses are provided with the best feed and care with strict attention given to diet, exercise, farrier, veterinary care and conditioning.

Breeding. Our Qualified Tribunal pure Spanish revised stallion, Gentil MOR is standing to a limited number of mares. Read more about Gentil MOR and see photos on Our Stallion page. Stud fees and mare requirements are as follows:

• A non-refundable $250 booking fee is required for shipped semen
• Shipped semen will be sent for approved mares only - pictures or video required!
• Copy of registration papers are required showing current owner.

In addition, a veterinary statement of clean uterine cytology is required to test for possible e-coli contamination - this includes maiden mares. This precaution is taken to help protect pregnancy loss. The test is a simple, inexpensive swab of the uterus. If there are numerous white blood cells, the swab is then cultured for bacteria. A culture is necessary only if indicated by cytology, to determine what bacteria needs to be treated.
