:: From Lucea BR's Owner - I first saw Lucea BR as a two year old at a local Regional horse show. I thought that she was the most beautiful filly I had ever seen and I fell in love with her instantly. After negotiations with the Stammler's and with the expert guidance of our friend and trainer, Gareth A. Selwood, I purchased Lucea the following year.

Lucea BR came to me with an excellent foundation training at the skillful hand of Jennifer Bender, who works as a trainer for National Champion Lucea BR

Branch River Ranch. That year, in 2003, Lucea earned her first National Champion title in Western Pleasure Jr. Horse, ridden by Jen Bender. Lucea has since gone on to win numerous Regional & National titles and USEF High Point Awards in 2003, 2004, and 2005. She has been a joy for me to ride in the show arena and we've had great fun together!

During the purchasing negotiations with the Stammlers, I visited Branch River Ranch on several occasions and was very impressed by the excellent conditions and excellent care that all the horses received. The stalls, arena, and barn area were immaculate and the horses were all in great condition. I believe that the Stammlers and trainer Jen Bender have a good ethic in starting their horses. Lucea was not pushed, but brought along with a good, solid foundation which has made her subsequent training much easier. There were no "bad habits" or issues to contend with. She came to me with a great attitude and good work ethic. To this day, she has always been very willing to please. In short, she is a complete joy to work with. I am very thankful to Jen Bender and to the Stammlers for this.

As a final note, Lucea recently gave birth to a beautiful black filly on May 7, 2007. Throughout Lucea's pregnancy, Julie Stammler has emailed to ask how she is doing and is now happy to be a "grandmother". Julie cares for and respects the horses that she sells and always tries to match them with the very best owners. I feel privileged to know the Stammlers and Jen Bender.

:: From Previous Boarder - I boarded two horses over the winter at Branch River Ranch. The facilities are awesome and more has been added to the ranch since I was there. The care of the horses is excellent and the Stammlers treated me like family. I am very particular when it comes to the care of my horses and I never had to worry! Everything is always neat, tidy and orderly and the barn is well organized.

The tack room is huge and the viewing room is nice and warm in the winter. Heated water buckets are provided in each stall. My horses and I enjoyed our stay at Branch River Ranch very much!
